Hello! Thank you for taking time to learn a little bit about me and why I’m so passionate about photography! 🙂

I grew up in the country in Ohio and at a very young age I started to take pictures with my toy camera. I honestly can’t remember a time where I wasn’t interested in taking pictures. From a young age I was always wanting to use my sister’s digital camera to take pictures…to the point where I was using it to take pictures of my dolls in the dollhouse and accidentally wiped the whole memory card.

I was homeschooled from K4-12th grade and enjoyed EVERY second of it! My first “photoshoot” was when I was 7, and it was of a play that all 4 of my older siblings were in with our homeschool group. I was always taking pictures of my cats, the flowers in my yard, and country sunsets.

Fast forward to the December before my senior year of High School, when I asked my mom to buy me my own DSLR camera so I could take my own senior photos, instead of her having to spend the same amount of money the camera cost just for one photo shoot! (that camera is actually the one in the picture above

) That camera got me through a few different senior photo shoots, a photography class, and plenty of random pictures as well.

I took some photography courses in college and right after graduation I switched from using my Nikon camera constantly, to using my Canon.

It’s definitely weird to switch between the two, but both have different perks to them!

Since then, I’ve taken family pictures, engagement pictures, wedding pictures, newborn pictures, pictures at parties, and much more! My love for photography has only grown over the years and I’m working on turning my love for photography into a side business!
